littleye is a virtual fence around a "white list" of websites for kids that have been approved by parents and teachers.

After you sign up for an account, littleye will be automatically installed on your computer. littleye works on both PC and Apple platforms. After littleye has been installed, you will see our locked icon in the upper right hand corner of your browser. The locked icon means your kids can only go to sites that are on the littleye Safe Sites list.

To unlock the browser, simply click the lock icon on your browser, enter your parental log in (user ID and password that you set up during the sign up process).

When you close and re-launch your browser, littleye will be activated. Your browser will be locked.

As a parent or teacher, you are in control of where your kids go online with Mylittleye.

When you log in to Mylittleye, you can view your kids browsing activity by clicking on MyKids. This where you can unlock sites for your kids.

You can set up timers for general Internet browsing by weekday or weekend in increments of 15 minutes. In addition, you can set up timers for specific sites, so you can manage your kids time on sites that may be taking up more time than necessary; like MySpace and gaming sites.

As we grow, there will be other communities that will build their own white lists, and we will have the ability for you to subscribe to other lists and make the same modifications based upon your what you think it appropriate for your kids.

littleye provides a baseline safe list of good sites for kids, providing you a great foundation for a safe Internet for your kids. This list is constantly growing and consists of thousands of safe website for kids.

Even though we have built a great fence around the good sites for kids, we always encourage that you monitor your kids while they are using the Internet.

From downloading to using littleye, we’ve made littleye very easy to use.

After you sign up and provide your basic contact data and credit card information, you will receive the first 30 days of littleye FREE on a trial basis. After 30 days, you will be charged a subscription fee $9.95 per month for littleye. You can cancel your subscription at any time with no penalty.

Once you are a littleye member, you will have access to Mylittleye. This is your secure parental control area where you can manage your account information, join our community of website reviewers and list contributors, manage your kids activity on the Internet and modify where your kids go online. You can view browsing history, set up additional kids and set up timers for general Internet usage and site-specific timers.

No matter which browser or computing platform you choose to use, littleye has browser plug-ins for both PC and Apple. For PC, littleye is available for Internet Explorer v6 & v7 and Firefox. For Apple, littleye works on Safari and Firefox.
