How does littleye work?

With a community of parents and teachers, we have created a list of websites that have been reviewed and approved as safe for kids. Safe, to littleye, means no exposure to inappropriate content. Once you download and install the browser plug-in, you have the option to activate littleye or de-activate littleye by clicking the littleye on/off icon on your browser.

How does the 30 day trial work?

After you complete the sign up form, you get littleye FREE for the first 30 days. After the 30 day trial, your credit card will be billed $4.95 a month. If you wish to cancel, just Contact Us. There is no penalty or charges for canceling your account at any time.

Do I need to build my own list of safe sites?

You can use the existing littleye Safe Sites list or you can build a personal list of your own. When you sign up for littleye, you automatically have a subscription to the littleye Safe Sites list.

Does littleye work in every browser?

littleye works on both Mac and Windows (PC) platforms. For Mac, littleye is available for Firefox and Sarfari. For Windows, littleye is available for Firefox and Internet Explorer (v6 & v7). Our preferred browser is Firefox for both Windows and Apple.

How do I search the Internet with littleye?

Use the Internet just as you do today. When you use your search engine of choice, littleye will still filter which sites can be accessed.

What are the chances of my child getting exposed to inappropriate content?

As long as littleye is activated, the browser is locked (ON icon is showing in your browser), and your kids can only go to sites our community has deemed safe for them.

What if I want to add or remove sites on the littleye safe list?

No problem. When you log in with your user name and password, you have the option to remove any site and add any site you wish — creating your own safe list. If we missed a great site for kids, just submit this site for our community will review the site for our master white list by Contacting Us.

Can I see where my kid goes online?

Yes. Once you are logged in to mylittleye, you can view your kid’s browsing history in My Kids.

Is there only one safe list?

Yes, for now. We have received requests from groups and organizations requesting to build their own lists and make them available as a subscription. So, more lists will be available for subscription as we grow!

How do I get littleye plug-ins for all my computers?

Visit our littleye downloads page for all browser plug-ins.

How much does littleye cost?

littleye is free for the first 30 days. If you like littleye, your subscription will begin in the second month at a rate of $4.95 a month. You can also purchase an annual subscription for $49.00.

Do you share details about users with other companies?

No, we never share user data of any kind. We respect your privacy.
